Makin' Some Progress

Okay, no vlog tonight, but I will tell you that I'm FINALLY almost caught up with my word count. Only 1300 words to go until I hit 10,000. I'm going to do a few word wars, plow out that chunk of words, and call it a night.

I'm finally getting on a writing roll, though, which is nice. I still hate my beginning with a passion, but I'm feeling pretty confident in my last six pages or so. Emeline and Gavin are coming into themselves, and it's about damn time! I wasn't sure Emma would EVER stop being such a wuss! I love Isabel, though, my pretty Marionette. I can't WAIT to write out her act, and show her in the midst of suspension.

Also, I'm almost to the point where I enter my Fire Eater, though I still haven't decided on a name for him. I was going to call him Ashley, but it just doesn't suit him. Too bad, though. I LOVE Ashley as a boys name. Weird, right? Oh well, I'll figure it out. His stage name is Pyralis. Corny, right? Stupid guy picked it himself. Serves me right for listening to HIS input. He's in my head, completely focused on his stage name, and refusing to have anything to do with his birth name. Well. Whatever, guy. You'll get what I choose for you!

I'm going to go continue being schizophrenic on Write or Die, now. Excuse me. >_> *awkward cough.*

November 2, Day 2!

I missed my word count yesterday because I'm a lazy slacker. Nicole knows. I probably wouldn't have gotten anything done if she didn't make me. XD Thank you, chick. <3

I'll do better today, I promise. Though I have to say, I'm TRASHING THE HELL OUT OF MY BEGINNING.... on midnight on December 1st. And I'm going to make a new one. Because anything is better than this puddle of word-vomit.

NaNo '09 Intro

Heya, kids. This is my second NaNoWriMo, and I thought that this year I'd document a bit of my creative process (if you can call it that, since it'll mostly just be a mad scramble to make word count).
